Best Bang for the Buck

This product is awesome so far. The 90 tooth ratchets work very well compared to lower tooth ratchets. You also get a plethora of sockets in 1/4 and 3/8 sizes. The 1/2 is a little lacking but the kit comes with reducers so you can use your 1/2 drive ratchet with the 3/8 sockets!

Decent Kit

This is a pretty well put together kit that can handle most jobs. The trays fit great in the toolbox drawers and are labeled well. My main complaint is with the wrenches. Mine came missing the 3/8 and had another 7/16 in its place. It doesn't come with a 9/16, and only goes up to 3/4. The metric side is better, having 10 wrenches compared to the Standards count of 7. It could use some universal joints, but that's just being picky. I don't regret buying it, but make sure to check that everything ...

90 tooth ratchet and foam tray under $300 enough said right?. Really i searched and searched but the eva foam trays to keep thing neat and in order was big thing plus it comes with Kobalts 90 tooth ratchets! Heck i would have paid more just comparing to anything else .

no 9/16 combination wrench.

why would anyone suspect a 300 piece tool kit would not have a 9/16 combo wrench? no place for it in the display case so it is an intentional omission. grrr their 1/4 and 3/8 ratchet routinely slip. so called "no Hassel customer service apparently means they don't respond to customer emails so I had to resort to reviews.

Good tools bad design

I'm a mechanic and having my tools sorted is ideal. this is a good price for everything that you get but they really should've put more thought in the foam keepers that they are in. It would've been 5 stars if not for that. when you look at it, they ha e 3/8" sockets mixed with 1/2" mixed with 1/4" sockets. Very bad design.

No 9/16 wrench? Really?

I bought this set without having done enough research apparently. Who’d have known. A 300 piece tool set doesn’t include a single 9/16” wrench. I mean really…. Who at Kobalt made that decision. I wish I could return it but I’ve opened all of the foam trays and installed them in my tool drawers before realizing this kit is missing one of the most common size wrenches in the western world. Extremely dissatisfied.
