I haven’t gotten to use them too much, yet. The few times I have, the tools seemed to be a decent quality for the price I paid. I love the quick release the ratchets have for the sockets. My two biggest complaints are that a) the trays are not readily compatible for the Kobalt toolbox I purchased at the same time (They are either too big in one direction or another or too small making them slide around in the drawer) and b) the tools are not coupled in a logical fashion (would like all the 1/4” ...

Kobalt hand tool set
This is a nice general assortment of hand tools. I really like the foam boards with cutouts for each tool. They’re a great visual aid to spot misplaced items.

Would RecommendI bought this set for my son and can't be happier. It does take a lot of space due to the foam/ EVA. Had to replace them with socket rails and flat EVA mats to fit into his toolbox. But if you have plenty of space or spare toolbox, it's worth investing for new or spare tools. At the price while on sale and its warranty, it's a steal!

Poor quality with a bad layout
Would Not RecommendThe quality of these tools are not made to the same standard as other Kobalt tools. Everything is noticeably cheaper. For example, the channel locks are flimsy and bind up making then completely unusable. The overall layout doesn't make any sense. The rachets, extensions, and sockets are all in separate casing requiring you to open 3 drawers every time you need a tool or want to put it away. Would RecommendGot this for my youngling, and he was ecstatic to have a starter kit for his toolbox to work on his little mower and bicycle. It's a nice, organized, and labeled set, but it takes too much space. I would recommend this set for anyone who has extra draws that need to be filled, starter, extra/ spare sockets set.
