Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 65 -Piece Metric and standard (SAE) Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the tool set for solid build quality, durability, and exceptional value, with most finding the ratchets, sockets, and accessories reliable and comfortable to use. The comprehensive assortment of SAE and metric sizes suits home repairs and vehicle maintenance well. However, many report significant frustrations with the storage case, noting that drawers jam, sockets dislodge, and plastic construction feels cheap. Despite case issues, most customers consider the tools themselves well-made and worth the price, making it a popular starter set and gift option.

Ratchet gave out within a month
Would Not Recommend3/8 ratchet gave out within a month. Case is very inconvenient. Smaller sockets are hard to get out . Wrenches fall out of case.

Good, economical set!
Would RecommendBought this set as the previous one I had just couldn't cut it. I need a decent set that will perform well. These seem to be pretty good quality and I believe they will last me a long time. My first set had many pieces that rusted in a very short time (craftsman - I will never buy that brand again). The case the tools come in is great, love that the lid also holds pieces.

Great product.
Would RecommendIt has everything I need. Would be better if the drawers were separated as SAE and Metric.

Everything you need
Would RecommendNeeded something long term with anything we could possibly need for current and future installs.
Toolbox is great - packaging not so great
Would RecommendThe toolbox itself is great. Care should be taken in shipping though. A couple sockets had come out of their place in one of the drawers making it very difficult (almost impossible) to open the drawer. Fortunately after several tries, I was able to get the drawer open.
