Unlike the other larger coarse file I have this one at 6 in is prefect for everyday sharping and filing. I have used it mainly for tool sharping but it smooth enough to sharpen Kitchen tools as well. It comes with a convenient case to hang at the bench and also comes with a lifetime warranty.
