Would RecommendFirst I want to communicate that the idea is awesome and I was super excited and satisfied with the kobalt products. BUT today I learned that the “fast changing spools” are not compatible with my 24v weed eater.(was not informed about this little detail) Now I have to return them and spool up the normal way vs this fast and easy way.

Would RecommendI purchased a Kobalt 40 volt line trimmer about 8 years ago. I also purchased the 3 pack of .365 spare spools giving me a total of 4 spools. I purchased the universal 275 foot of .065 blue line. I have been rewinding the spools for 8 years and just rewound 3 spares using the last of the universal line. This should last me the rest of summer 2021 and more. Trimmer is very handy, no cords, gas or mixing. I have the 40 volt blower too and a total of 3 battery packs that last 45 minutes each.

Kobalt refill spool
Would Not RecommendThe item pictured was what I wanted, was told at the store those aren’t available anymore so they pointed me to the refill for my weed eater. I bought the item and put it in my trimmer, didn’t feed right when ask to, spool was a little different size, plus the string was different. I guess I have to buy a new weed eater now to get efficiency. Just what they wanted I would say
