Product is trouble free and convenient. A bit pricey versus loading the reels on your own. But saves time especially if you run out in the middle of trimming.

Works as you would expect tends to stick to itself making it harder to extend the string.

NOT for use with the Kobalt Dual string 40 v model

This is probably a good product, but the label is VERY misleading. It states for use with 40 volt Kobalt trimmer. Maybe an old version but NOT the current 40 volt DUAL string trimmer; be careful. Unfortunately I had to return these, and worse, the correct spool / line was not in stock.

Best string for yard trimmer

We have a Kobalt yard trimmer, and this line was the best. Unfortunately, the spool doesn't fit our model so we have to unwind all the string and rewind it on the correct size spool, which Lowe's doesn't stock.

Though isappears to be costly, it is not only convenient but top quality line that lasts .

Problem experienced using this spool

On three different spools I was unable to use all of the line. I don't know why this happened that a lot of the line is still on the spools.

Kobalt 3 pack 20 ft spool of 0.065 trimmer line

The Kobalt battery line trimmer is excellent for lawns, brush, even edging. But it does not bump-feed well and needs to be turned over and manually triggered to feed more line. However, it does feed too easily when the line gets grabbed by a thick stem. So it uses up a lot of line in the course of a day or two. The 3 pack is good to have extra spools on hand. They pop in easily and are good to go. They seem quite expensive compared to wind-it-yourself line, but that process is a real pain.

This is easy to install and use! Kobalt is an excellent product!

Gets the job done

Ordered this. It was silver string not blue. I just wish it was stronger and broke less.

Easy to install. But runs out quick. And expensive.

Wrong product

Returned .... but they at least triple over priced . Shouldn’t be more than $6.00. Always shameful how grossly over priced after market prices are ... and for the record - I despise the trimmer I was trying to buy a spool for because the bump head is junk! My worst ever Lowe’s mistake!

Only drawback is the difficulty putting the string in without it all unraveling. But soon you get the idea.

No chance. I liked the replace string.

I like the replaceable string set that came with the unit. The company stopped making it. I had to turn in the weed wacker.

Expensive and not durable line

These are very expensive for the short amount of line on each spool. The line is not very strong and breaks easily. They are hard to restring by yourself, so pretty hard to save money. If it was a 5 or 6 spool package at the same cost, I would like it better.
