Redesign Needed
The angle between blade and the handle is too much. Also, it would work much better with a rounded point. It's great for prying, but not for cutting. I had been using a straight long handle sharp shooter shovel to remove chinese privets. I drive the shovel into the earth by stomping on it with my foot and circling the shrub. Finally I have the tool I need to clean up my front planting area to rid it of remnants from nasty, fast growing, fastidious shrubs. I don't know the name, but very hard to rid. Last fall I applied farm strength herbicide, and now I have to remove the mostly dead root tangle and cut off stems.
