What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the product for creating clean, precise countersinks and pilot holes with adjustable depth control, and many report professional results on woodworking projects like decks and cabinetry. The three-piece set covers multiple sizes effectively. However, a substantial portion report premature failures, particularly at the hex shank connection, with bits snapping or coming loose after just a few uses even in soft wood. Reviewers describe the metal as feeling cheap and fragile. While functionality impresses initially, durability concerns and structural design flaws leave many questioning long-term value.

Hex shank broke off the bit after only 3 holes this is a joke dont buy it waste of money
Fell apart after a few holes
Would Not RecommendHex base came loose after 20 holes…in soft wood. Returned and bought 2nd thinking it was a fluke. 2nd one did the same thing. Will be returning it as well. Clearly defective manufacturing technique.
Horribly Cheap
Would Not RecommendThe first couple of seconds I used to this for the first time, the tail end spun and broke off. This is horribly cheap.
Built ins
Would RecommendBuilt a beautiful built in shelving these were perfect

Perfect for wood screws
Would RecommendMUCH better than my old stamped bits that only do a fixed depth. These cut clean holes to the precise depth needed with a single adjustment setscrew. The only improvement would be including a storage case, or at least a better designed package that can serve that function.

Good value but easily broken.
Would RecommendThe bits are sharp and work well but they are very brittle. I was putting my drill down and the smaller of the three bits tapped the edge of my work bench and snapped off at the countersink. My fault but disappointing that they are that fragile. I will buy a replacement knowing that I need to be extra careful in the future.

Easy to use on Trek decking
Would RecommendI was installing some Trek decking and came to the end board. In order to have the screws fit flush, I needed to counter sink them. I thought I had a countersink set, but couldn't find them. Got these and they worked fine. Gray screws level with gray decking. Sweet.

#8 bit sheared
Would Not RecommendI bought this set about 3 months ago to use doing home projects. I was drilling into 3/4 plywood and #8 bit broke into two, I expected it last a little longer given that they about $7 per bit.

Would Not Recommend#10 bit broke on the 3rd hole. I am literally "stucked" on my project.
Want to love these - but the bits keep breaking
Would Not RecommendThese are a wonderful working countersink drill bit set, but unfortunalty they are brittle with a short lifespan. I’ve gone through 2 sets (6 drill bits) in one year! The tips of the bits break off regularly so ive got a lot of countersink attachments that only fit tapered bits, which I dont have anymore. I bought a second set thinking perhaps operator error on my behalf or a fluke for the first but despite care and caution these bits are brittle. Really wanted to like these but im on the hunt ...
