Works Well But Drill Bit Broke

These tapered drill bits and countersink work well. Regrettably, the #6 size bit broke off at the countersink while tightening the drill bit depth set screw. Had to go to Lowes to exchange with new set.

Good enough

The design is good for general use, but this type of countersink always seems to clog quickly and stop cutting. They will do in a pinch

It broke after just a few holes. I returned it immediately.

These three bits cover most DIY needs.

This style of pilot hole bits is, by far, the best in my opinion. There re other, less expensive models available, however this style actually works to keep the wood from splitting because of the longer pilot bit. The actual size of the #8 bit was a little loose for my preferences, but the #6 size worked great for #8 screws.

Not heavy duty.

The shaft that connects the bit to the drill (the connector ) came off of the bit during the first use. However i was able to chuck the drill up onto the shaft of the bit and fi ich the project.

3rd set I brought and shaft breaks again

I love these drill bits if they just didn't keep breaking at the shaft. I've brought these 3 times and everyone has broken at the shaft where the hex connector goes over the end of the drill bit. Seems like they glues these on :(

Hopeful

Super hopeful for these, I like that the drill bit is tapered, however first use the drill bit broke off of the spindle. I can slide it back on the spindle but I cant get it to stay without spinning freely. Bad design unless I am doing something wrong

Not a real good buy, just okay.

It started working real good but the small drill bit broke and the fixture came apart.

Base Seperated

I purchased these as the only countersink option and the first time I used them the hexagon base separated from the drill bit. I was still able to finish what I was doing without it, but the manufacturing quality sucked.

Worked well, then it fell apart.

I've used similar products, usually from other manufacturers like Dewalt, and they typically last a year or two until one one of my kids snaps the bit trying to drill at an odd angle (Frustrating, but worth it to have time with the kids. Short help is better than no help at all.). These were the only bits of this type available at my local Lowes, so I thought I'd give them a try. I was having no problems with these bits. Absolutely Garbage

Hex shank broke off the bit after only 3 holes this is a joke dont buy it waste of money

Fell apart after a few holes

Hex base came loose after 20 holes…in soft wood. Returned and bought 2nd thinking it was a fluke. 2nd one did the same thing. Will be returning it as well. Clearly defective manufacturing technique.

Horribly Cheap

The first couple of seconds I used to this for the first time, the tail end spun and broke off. This is horribly cheap.
