Inflation is quick and intuitive, requiring only 10-12 breaths, with an easy rotating valve for deflation. Many report using the pad for 5 to 20 years, demonstrating strong durability. Have only used this pad about 10 times including a 4 day rim to rim hike in the Grand Canyon. It is lightweight, sturdy, and comfortable.

Favourite sleeping pad!
I’m pretty bony and a side sleeper. All the pads I used growing up and as a young adult were so uncomfortable because I felt like my shoulders, hips, and knees would always end up digging into the ground. Then I found this pad. Whatever magic they put into structure, it works! I can sleep on my side and sleep comfortable and supported the entire night! It also only takes 12-15 breaths to fill up completely for me, so it’s very fast to set up. I use this for car camping mostly but I’m looking to...

East pad
Easy and simple, not a premium pad, with all the bells and whistles, but it rolls up small and light. Easy to fall asleep with

Great for back country camping
When you need something very light and small this is a great product. I am 6'1" and 280lbs and this pad did help a lot. When I have the room I bring a thicker mat but as far as hiking when I need something small and light, this is a great pad

Seems good as long as I inflate it as much as possible. If at all soft my hips push through to the ground.

Good sleeping pad, a bit of work to inflate
Good sleeping pad, bit of a pain to inflate without a pump. Used on a basic cot and it turned it into a pretty comfortable sleeping surface.

Field use
Active duty military. Had to use this for the majority of 3 months on exercises. Held up perfectly. Couldn’t feel anything through it once lying down, even over rocky terrain. Easy set up/ tear down and perfect size for a litefighter tent. 6’ 0” 220lbs

This sleeping mat is very
This sleeping mat is very comfortable and affordable! It is a bit noisy and slippery for sleeping. I wish it was easier to pack into the drawstring bag. It must be accordion-folded the same way it came for it to fit back into the bag, so if this stresses you out, don't buy it. Overall, for what it costs, this mat is a good option.

Decent inflatable pad
Was really impressed with this when I first purchased it. Its super light and simple to set up/ deflate. However; ive been through 2 in about 5 years of light use. They tend to develop small holes from rocks and twigs. The holes are very hard to find and patch so you pretty much have to buy a new one. Wish they were slightly heavier material to last better in the woods.

Great for the Weight
I've been using a klymit V-luxe for 3 years and I love it! Now I've upgraded to a Vluxe insulated for winter use. When combined with my grand trunk hammock, HotCore T300 sleeping bag and an underquilt I stay toasty warm at -20 C.

1 star removed for the
1 star removed for the inflation mechanism, perhaps due to user error but it always seems to release air upon sealing the outer cap. Other than that I have no complaints, and this is my go to for backpacking trips, in the front country I'll usually additionally use a zrest

Great air pad!
I have had a Klymit Static V Recon pad for close to 10 years and the valve started having issues. I didn't want to chance it failing in the back country so purchased a new one. The valve is a great improvement on the new one from the previous design. I have tried other air pads but they can't beat this one for comfort or the price.

Leaky Valve
The flip valve on this pad leaks. I have been sent another pad to replace the old leaky valve, and it leaked after one trip. Sleeping on the cold ground sucks. Get a pad without a flip valve. When it does actually hold air, it is very comfortable.

Valve is leaking after 5 nights of use!
I started the Arizona Trail and by the 4/5 night my pad was leaking air from the valve. I confirmed this after I got to town and was able to dunk the pad. Big bummer. The pad was feeling great when it was working and it was very comfortable. I looked on Klymit’s website and they did have replacement parts either. Bigger bummer.

Light, Compact, Comfortable
There's a reason this pad is so popular: it works. I've used it for about a month of sleeping on the ground in a variety of environments, and it's been comfortable in every one. It rolls up small, inflates and deflates easily, and adds very little weight in my pack.
