No drop protection as advertised

Dropped this from like 5ft. Cracked the body. Also, the flashlight does not stay on. It blinks three times and goes off. Terrible.

Didn’t last

Handy tool, but mine lasted a little more than a year before it failed. Wasn’t abused, just stopped working all of a sudden. Not impressed

I have had this tool for a year or two it has never let me down.

Doesn’t work properly.

The two separate voltage ranges do not work properly, when selected to 70-100v it still reads 24v, I’ve even read 11v off a neutral wire. Had it exchanged for a new one and still does the same thing.

The Best NCVT I Have Found...

I have have had my NCVT-4IR for well over a year now. I find it durable, reliable and easy to use. The IR Temperature sensor goes well with the NCVT tool.

Favorite tester

I’ve had a bunch of different testers in the last few years. This one has lasted the longest. Only complaint is it says waterproof but when It drops into a puddle once water got all inside.

Downgrade from the NCVT3

Awful tester. Nothing about this thing works. This is for a DIYer not professionals. First thing that broke was the clip. Now it won't even stay on. Bring back the NCVT-3 and get rid of this garbage.

Waaaaay better than the 3P

You guys had a perfect tester and ruined it when the 3P. I can't find a replacement anywhere. Please bring this back and stop making garbage like the 3P.

Light is bright

Need tool

Works great but fragile

Bought this and loved it for a year. Dropped it 1.5 ft on concrete floor and hard plastic battery cap broke - now useless. Searched site, could not find replacement parts. Battery cap under high stress due to spring and battery weight underneath. Poor selection of material used in battery cap. Should be thicker hard plastic or more flexible material.

Great all around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace one that no longer worked and it works great. Some of these can be questionable but it gets a good reading every time. I like the flashlight built in too. I just wish it were a little brighter. Waterproof and dust proof is a big plus.

Amazing Tester

Works Great and Very Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a year and it is still working great. Very accurate when it comes to the non contact voltage tester. It is also pretty durable. I have dropped it in a puddles of water and it has been left out in the rain and it still works great.

Very handy solid piece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few months back and I keep it in my pocket the whole time. It is great for a quick test if there is voltage and the flashlight is bright enough to see around dark places and inside deep boxes.

Best ticker you've made

This ticker was most accurate and light bar help determine voltage or residual. The ncvt-3p is not even close runner up and very disappointed with product. Literally downgraded on newer model for great product.
