This fridge is terrible, you would expect top of the line with the price. Within a few months the bottom freezer wouldn't seal shut, called and they came out to repair but never really fixed the issue. Then we had the fridge completely shut off and stop working after 2 years! Called the repairman and he couldn't fix it because fridge turned on. It will randomly just shut off. Now it's not cooling again, not making ice. Save your money and do not buy!

poor service from Lowes & kitchenaide. DO NOT BUY

bought july4th, delivered july 31st. now 2 months in still doesnt work, 2l3 service visits, Lowes doesnt help, whirlpool doesnt follow up. had to chase down and now replacing fridge. 1 month wait. terrible quality and awful service. both companies avoid help more than try to help

delivered July 31st. we went out of town for two days and came back to it not working. lowes says they dont do anything after 48 hours. kitchen aide does nothing. we are two months in now and have no solution from their 3rd party service. absolute failure. do not buy. no eta on repair.

This fridge looks nice, but has ruined so much of our produce. The fridge randomly freezes our stuff all the time. We had someone come out and look at it and they said something along the lines of the cooling systems have changed so just move things around in your fridge. I don’t want anything in my fridge frozen and I don’t want to not be able to use certain areas of my fridge. Would not recommend!

Love it!

I love my new fridge! It’s so nice and works perfectly! No issues. Love the extra cold compartment to keep my beverages extra cold. Super spacious.

Great new fridge

We had to replace our 15 year old Kenmore Elite and since they are no longer available we went with quality KitchenAide products. The capacity, cooling and design is just as we expected. Lowes made the experience easy and only had to wait 4 days from purchase to delivery and removed the old appliance too.

Does not live up to the price.

The frige has plenty of room for food but the shelving system is horrible. It lacks shelves where you need them. It needs one or two more shelves. The ice maker can not keep up with a family of four. If you use all the ice today it will not have half a bin by the same time the next day.

Total garbage

Complete garbage. Entire fridge and freezer cooling failure within 5 days. $1000 in food lost, as of course it probably never really worked and decided to fully fail over night. Assurance, worthless. Mfg support, worthless. Lowe’s support, worthless. Customer gone. No hard feelings, it must be me, certainly not you.

Zero Stars Kitchenaid Fridge

Second one I’ve owned in 3 years. First one was a tragic mess as well. So this beast of disappointment. Purchased on 8/21, delivered on 8/23, useless on 8/29. Zero cooling. All food ruined. $1,00.00! Should have know it was garbage when the first 24 hours, not 1 ice cube, 48 hours the first throw away show up. Notice the fridge area seems warm even though it’s set to 33 degrees. Freezer seemed ok, but the morning of the 8/29; everything melted! Water inside, and out. Food spoiled....

Left door drifts closed

This refrigerator has several design flaws. Apart from these, it’s a decent fridge, however, I would not purchase it again nor would I recommend it due to these flaws. It was out of stock, so didn’t get a good look at it before it was delivered. 1. The left door drifts closed. The right door stays where you put it, but the left door knocks you in the shoulder every time you go in the fridge. Beautiful large capacity refrigerator

Purchased this item in the black ore finish, it was a tight squeeze getting it inside the house. The delivery guys were great and efficient. But once installed and the ice was dropping it doesn’t dispense through the door, the motor isn’t turning the auger! Called before the 48 hours to report the issue, they’re supposed to come out to exchange the entire refrigerator next week!! Wish me luck after reading the other reviews
