Clean dishes at last!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We've had this dishwasher for a few weeks now and we're loving it. There are two things that make this dishwasher stand out for me. First, it accommodates considerably more dishes than my old machine. And second - it actually gets all the dishes and cutlery clean, hurray! And I'll add one more thing - it's quite quiet.

Easy to use

I love that the dishwasher is so quiet! Also the top 3rd shelf is very useful

Excellent dishwasher

We’ve had this dishwasher for about a week now and it’s the best dishwasher I’ve had. Large capacity and cleans beautifully. It’s very quiet also.

Best ever dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cleans fantastic, the thrid shelf is amzing, the two drying features are great for plastic. The noise is exceptable for god sake it's a dishwasher. The capacity is just fine and filtation is easy to get to. The drip dector work great. The only two things is the water inlet is a bugger to get to and the drain hose isn't any easier. Being able to remove the middle rack is tremendous

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Capacity, Cleaning, Drying and Noise. Mostly positive. However, compared to previous dishwasher length of time for cleaning seems rather long. Having the touch buttons on the top of the door causes you to accidently push the buttons when opening the washer. Noise level is great and like the fact the door will open when drying is completed. Stopped working after 10 months

Bought a few weeks ago cleans very well especially glasses.like the auto door opener for drying,smart tech.

High tier price tag, low tier quality

I'm writing this review 9 months after my initial purchase. I don't think KitchenAid has quite figured this one out yet. The 'auto-door-open' feature failed 3 times within a month, so Lowe's finally agreed to replace it with a new unit. Fast forward 6 months, the same thing happened to the replacement unit. I had the module inside the unit replaced under warranty this morning, so we'll see what happens going forward. So far, my expectations are VERY low and I won't be surprised if it fails ...

Quiet dishwasher

This DW is really quiet which is a big improvement over our last one. Loading is a challenge. It seems some of the spacing for dishes in the lower rack could be closer together. Overall, we like it.

Be wary of the control panel (or other QC issues)

BLUF: The dishwasher is quiet and effective, when it works. However the control panel (touchpad on the front) failed after 18 months. This is an expensive repair (approx. $250 if you do it yourself), and it's only warrantied for 1 year. Detail: I own the previous model KDFE204KPS. The control panel stopped responding to any input. nice dishwasher but they sent me the wrong door

We ordered the dishwasher at the store to make sure it was all done correctly. I very specifically discussed with the employee that I wanted the door without the handle. He confirmed this. We were installing it ourselves so did not open the box when the delivery people dropped it off. When we did we got the door with the handle. We needed it right away so just kept it, but were dissappointed with the service we got at the store. I would have done better to order online. We bought this dishw...
