What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the dishwasher for exceptional cleaning and drying performance, with dishes coming out spotless and completely dry. The near-silent operation surprises many, who report barely hearing it run. The third rack is widely celebrated for holding cups and bowls, while the automatic door opening aids drying. Large interior capacity and adjustable racks impress users upgrading from older models. Most find the express wash cycle effective for saving water and time. A few report minor issues, but overall customers consider this a highly reliable, efficient choice.

Best Dishwasher Ever!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned other dishwashers in the past, but never one like this. My new dishwasher is the best dishwasher ever! It is whisper quiet, has tons of space, and does a fantastic job of cleaning and drying my dishes - even plastic. I am proud to show it off to my guests. I love it!

Overall Dishwasher experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new KitchenAid dishwasher. It holds a lot of dishes. Love adjustable shelf for larger dishes. Love the top drawer can put miscellaneous things and smaller items. This dishwasher is so quiet the first few times I had to make sure it was on. I also like the feature for normal cycle the door pop's open when the cycle is done b

Good and Bad
Would RecommendThe good: we are happy with the cleaning and drying results. The bad: [1] The printed instructions don't cover how to connect the water supply or drain hose; why the LED will change from blue to red midcycle; why you would choose a different drying cycle or wash cycle. Much more info is in the online instructions (like how to install it). [2] I didn't realize when the door is open the handle will bump into my feet. The bottom shelf is 4" from the floor so loading and unloading is a lot of bendin...

New feature
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After one week, dish cleaning experience is satisfactory. New feature - where door opens about 1 inch at end of cycle is welcome. I hope that this model is more dependable than my previous model (KDTM604KPS), which lasted a bit more than 5 years when the wash motor malfunctioned. Rather than spend the vast amount to replace the motor, it was suggested that a new machine was probably a better choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly not impressed with the cleaning. We used three different detergent packets including Cascade and Finish, all with the result that objects in the corners of the racks did not get cleaned (despite loading bowls and cups facing down and nothing in the way, etc.). Also not impressed with the utensil cleaning on the third rack. Otherwise, I did like the button reactivity and fit, feel, and finish of the unit.

Great capacity
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is quiet, and the dishes come out clean. I like that it automatically opens to vent. We are also pleased with the added capacity of the third row, which allows us to run the dishwasher less frequently. My only complaint is that the tines seem too short for our dinner plates. The plates fall over rather than sitting straight up.

Cleans well and leaves plastic containers dry!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model cleans very well and the dishes and plates come out clean and smooth to the touch. The drying feature (popping open the door when finished) has proven very capable in leaving the "Tupperware" plastic containers dry and ready to put away.

Failed within 5 years.
Would Not RecommendIt's a terrible design that gets water stuck in it, so it grows mold on the inside. It doesn't drain properly. The sliding brackets for the racks wear out quickly and are extremely thin and cheap so they break easily.
