Love my NEW dishwasher

Dish racks not very accommodating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous KitchenAid was 10 years old. Had it repaired twice in the last month before replacing with new dishwasher. Racks in new dishwasher not as useful as racks in old dishwasher. Wine glasses and other classes do not stand up, bowls do sit properly.

Love this dishwasher

Cleans well but takes too long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] --Cleans well but I'm sure it will use more energy than our old one (which broke after 42 (yes, 42!) years just because we're on an excellent very cold water well and by taking so long to run, any water going in is always cold. Turning the hot water on only helps for 10 minutes or so. --I slso find that the stainless steel interior is dark enough to "lose" small items easily. --The handle sticks out so far that we can't open the cupboard draw...

Extremely Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love our KitchenAid dishwasher. Everything is clean and dry when it’s done just like it should be. For the most part it’s pretty quiet also. We would highly recommend is so far.

Basic like GE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it installed and had it removed the next day, It was GE quality and didn’t I want nothing to do with GE. Your best dishwasher lasted about 1.5 years before the control panel went out. Was not going to invest in a repair that was half the cost of a new one. Now my KitchenAid fridge that was 3 K plus ice maker is giving us problems 2 months old so not happy with the name and I think your cutting corners on products

Good machine; poor design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well but poor design. Top controls hidden by standard counter top overhang. Third utensil rack totally unnecessary. Needs an air dry feature to save energy. Price was ok and didn't want to make a career out of buying a replacement for 20 year old washer with bad control board.

A good appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have marked 5 starts except that I am very disappointed in the configuration of the top (3rd level) shelf. It is worthless. As i choose to put my silverware in the basket at the bottom shelf, I have no use for this shelf. I would prefer that it be flat and would allow me to put cooking utensils in it such as spatulas, large spoons, etc.

Really clean dishes

Cleans well, but issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new KitchenAid/Whirlpool appliance cleans so well! The front looks nice in our kitchen with other stainless appliances - matte finish and easy to clean. The dishwasher cleans dishes well on all three racks - we appreciate the top tray for cup lids, straws, small items, etc. Unfortunately, the lower spinner arm broke off within the first few weeks of use. It looks like the plastic component that attaches the stainless spin arm to the bottom ...

top rack is too shallow
