Dishwasher has never worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a month ago and and it has never worked. I am trying to get it replaced but Kitchenaid is saying no. They will fix it which will cost almost the same as a new one and the tech will be in my house for a full day to do it! Can you imagine no dishwasher for over a month now!!!

Third level for silverware made huge difference

Nice dishwasher

Much quieter than the machine it replaced. Better documenation with clearer explanations of controls and settings would be an improvement.

So much better than expected!

It cleans beautifully, has just the right number of setting options and runs very quietly. We are so pleased and are finally using our dishwasher regularly.

Great Dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit was purchased to replace a disastrous other brand unit. I love the simplicity of the unit, the quietness and the ease of use. Not a fan of the silverware holder - can't figure out how to open to remove something that fell through hole... Instruction manual is lacking. Doesn't explain the different lights that show on the unit while operating... Unit is great otherwise.

Broken & not repairable

Less than 24 months the interface inside the door failed. Have to buy $400 door to repair after being charged for $400 of wrong parts and labor. Given the run around for two months. Never buying KitchenAid or Whirlpool again.

Premature failure with impossible to find parts

I did all the research and this was a top recommended dishwasher. Less than two years of owning it stops working. KitchenAid for wa repairs thru Goodman who is a HORRIBLE, unreliable, & non responsive. Over 6 weeks of not working before they claim a new door is needed bc you can't order the part.

The cleanest clean

At first I had to double check to make sure it was running. The only thing I don’t like about it is the plates have a tendency to perform a domino effect, and tip over

Great replacement to the last KitchenAid

Luckily, they didn’t charge us for anything other than one trouble call. Their technician offered to do the installation as he allowed the old installation was not proper, and he agreed to install the new one. so quiet

Works amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is very quite. The 3rd rack is wonderful for little items. Dishes come out clean and dry. Only complaint I have is the controls on top of the door are really easy to touch when you shut the door. Other than that it's a great dishwasher.

Not so great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even after trying the hot wash and the extended heat dry, the only dishes dry are the glass ones on the bottom rack. Yes, have searched the manual, tried a rinse agent and making sure no dishes overlap. Often dishes has food left on them, silverware in the top tray or bowls. Shiny and clean

Very good appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my old dishwasher died on Thanksgiving Day I knew I needed a new one. In checking stores in my neighborhood I decided on a store, and upon visiting them I saw they had a KitchenAid model on a very good sale, I bought it and it was delivered and installed quickly. My wife immediately took a liking to it and is still very happy with the purchase. I'll give a final review after a few more months but at this point it works for me.
