Ratings & Reviews for KitchenAid 24-in Front Control Built-in Dishwasher ( Black Ore ) With Third Rack, ProWash, Express Wash , 41-Decibel

High quality without the high price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been exceptionally pleased with the low noise level of the dishwasher as well as the pro drying feature. It is so nice to actually have totally clean and dry dishes. The third rack as well as the tall tub gives us so much more capacity that allows us to do less cycles compared to our old unit. The build quality is excellent. I highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone who wants a high quality unit without the high price.

No Longer Shouting above a Noisy Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher to replace an older noisy one. Our kitchen and den are one large room. The old ones measured in at 65 dB(A). This one is eight times quieter (41 dBA). Now we can talk and watch television without having to turn the volume extremely loud. Oh, and it does a much better job cleaning the dishes, too.

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love how quiet the dishwasher is. It cleans the dishes well and the pop open door when done at first surprised us but it is a great feature.

So far, so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had the dishwasher for a few weeks but so far, no problems. Does a good job of cleaning the dishes, drying, and it runs quietly.

Overall Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Normal wash setting and ProDry setting but the dishes on top rack and middle rack have water sitting on them when done. I also notice the top rack does not seem to get rinsed well with soap still on them ... and I am very careful with loading for optimal water circulation. I do like the options for loading various size pieces and even without soaking, so far am happy with cleaning.

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleased with the functionality and quietness of the appliance

Excellent dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is doing a great job. It is very quiet, holds a lot of dishes-the third rack is a great addition, and gets everything very clean. It is very easy to use. I only wish I had a more detailed manual! My favorite thing is how it opens itself a little at the end of the drying cycle to allow the heat to escape!

So quiet and works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with dishwasher. Runs very quiet and cleans well.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great purchase replacing my 29 year old Kitchen Aid. It’s very quiet, has a third rack, plenty of room for full load. Cleans and drys perfectly. I’m very pleased with this product. Highly recommend. Hope it lasts another 29 years.

Really great and quiet unit, while it worked.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Wonderful unit for the first two months, washed dishes perfectly and is so quiet, even quieter than anticipated... until it stopped working completely. Not responsive. Called for service under warranty and 5 weeks later we are still without a working dishwasher, waiting for a new wiring harness to be ordered. Frustrated that at this point they wouldn't just replace the unit considering it's been FIVE WEEKS!

Detergent Dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mostly, we are pleased with this new dishwasher. It is delightfully quiet and has good capacity. Our complaint is that we have a hard time getting the detergent dispenser to close when preparing the dishwasher to start.

Happy with new dishwasher

I love my new dishwasher is 's quiet, cleaned very good and there is more space than it was in old one. drying pretty good. after all, done the dishwasher is very clean filtering all out.

amazingly quiet.

This dishwasher is incredible. It operates quietly and cleans all my dishes perfectly.

Disappointingly loud

I ordered this specifically because of the 44db volume rating and it’s every bit as loud as the cheap low end unit it replaced.

Love the third rack

Just purchased it. Seems to work well and is very quite. Really like the third rack.

It’s perfect!

I love all of the features of this dishwasher! I am especially excited about the top tray for large utensils, etc. I cannot wait to get it installed!

Garbage. Didn’t last 6 months

Garbage. Purchased December 2025. Deceased May 2026. Stay away. Model KDFS324SPS. Serial number FE4401656.

Junk

This thing is junk! Had it for under 45 days and it’s only worked 4 times. The rest of the time it is broken. Do yourself a favor and run the other way! Do not buy this
