Would RecommendWe are well pleased with this light fixture. The style is just what we wanted. The bulbs that come with it are much dimmer than we are used to. It can be easily corrected by switching out the bulbs to some more bright. We may do this at some point but the appearance of the existing are so attractive that we may simply compromise and install can lights.

Would RecommendOur old entry way light kept blowing out the bulbs, so we finally gave up on it and purchased this light. Not only is it beautiful, it puts out a lot of light. We are so pleased with our purchase that will be buying 3 additional seperate styles from the Barrington collection to phase out the kitchen and outdoor lighting as well.

Decent fixture
Would RecommendIt was pretty simple to install. The only thing is that if you have a darker area to light up, you will need to get the hyper white bulbs. Looks good. We bought the matching chandelier as well.

I love the look, installation was terrible. Screws would not line up in the hole. Left marks on the ceiling while trying to line up holes.Returned 2 due to broken and chipped globes. They were packaged great, not sure why they came broken. I like the golden lighting it gives off. Thank goodness for returns

Highly Recommended
I read some reviews saying it was a hard install. I did not have that issue. I did two in a hour. I did however put it completely together first before hanging and it went on smooth. Don't tighten the glass covers too tight or it will crack. Lighting is yellow but great for night. These are the Anvil Iron colored ones.

Beautiful but....
Would RecommendThis light fixture is absolutely gorgeous when installed as with many of the other Kichler Barrington line of products. We are currently putting this line of products throughout the house. Just as many of the reviews stated we also had one of the glass globes literally just fall out of the fixture and shatter. Based on previous reviews this must be a design flaw. Hopefully none of the others fall out also as we also put the Kichler Barrington Vanity lights up which use the same style globe.

Difficult to install
Would Not RecommendBecause of the design of the glass, it was very difficult to put together. Also one of the pieces was already broken so one of the glasses is completely crooked. Wouldn't be surprised if it falls apart in the next couple of days. Beautiful light but not worth the trouble of a difficult installation.
Looks good pain to install
Looked great out of the box, looks good installed. Problems with install, all lights are on their own wires, so you have to strip back at least 1/2 inch on each wire to get a decent braid to wrap around house wiring. The bolts to connect the outside screws only protrude 1/2 an inch down from the base of the lamp, making it a pain to get the screws to line up. If you want an easy install get another product, but it looks good when it is installed, took me about 3 hours to install.
