Would RecommendI love this light, the directions are confusing. Save yourself the frustration and look for a YouTube video where a guy is installing a semi flush mount kichler light. I still can’t get the glass to fit, will try when my husband gets home. I have made the threaded piece as long as I can but the glass sits crooked. Frustrating. I may just leave it out.

LED bulbs won't fit.
Would Not RecommendThis is a cute light, but tough nuts if you want to replace the incandescent Edison bulbs (that come with the unit) with LED Edison bulbs. I've tried both Philips and Feit LED Edison bulbs and the glass cover won't fit with either option. I've searched other brands, and no one seems to make LED Edison bulbs that are ~5 in long (like the bulbs that come with the light); they're all at least 5.5 in long. It's fine if you don't use the glass cover, but that's one of the reasons why I bought the dar...

Good, but ditch the glass shade.
Would RecommendAs several have mentioned, the glass shade is very problematic. My shade ended up being crooked or off-centered, no matter how many times I adjusted it. I ended up not using it, opting to install the shade thumbscrew directly to the bottom of the fixture. It looks great in this configuration.
