Love the new grips.

I'm a cabinet and furniture maker, and I have to say, these clamps are the best. I'm slowly converting my shop over to using these clamps, and have to say, there is nothing that comes close to these. Make a small investment, and buy one, you'll see what I'm talking about.

excellent clamps without the high price.

good product, horrible delivery

4-5 star product but zero stars for delivery. Three of my four 18" clamps were broken. End piece snapped, chipped head and a bent rod. I cannibalized the end piece off the bent rod to fix one clamp so I only had to return two. 4 heavy clamps in a cardboard box with popped air bags. Local customer service was helpful. Have delivered to store if not in stock

Not competitive with other brands

The bar is smooth, which does make it easier to slide the head and makes glue cleanup easier. However, the head slides freely on the bar and if you forget that and pick up the clamp the head will slide down and smash into your hand with considerable force. When placing the clamp into your rack you'll have to hold the head in place manually, making it a two hand process. Unlike other Jorgensen parallel clamps I have, you cannot lock the head in position by rotating the tightening rod counterclo...

No good

Quality has gone waaaay down. They claim these clamp 90* but with even the slightest amount of tension and the top head of the clamp deflects significantly, the pins break and the handles quickly begin to spin on the threaded rod. I used to depend on these clamps but now they’re barely useful.

First time user and wow!

I have recently retired and decided to start woodworking again from scratch mostly because my grandson has been coming over quite a bit and wanting to make a table for his mom. He has always hung around the shop with me helping to make things but now I find I need to retool and update most of my equipment. I decided to try the Jorgensen clamps and they are fantastic. Great quality and value. I hope to get some more for for my larger projects and for my new business. Ken Stevenson

Great Clamp

Hard to tighten, falls apart

I found it hard to tighten my 60" clamp and the metal locking pieced fell out when I took the head off to turn around and use as a spreader.

Broke down

I was putting some red oak boards with biscuits in them and as I was tightening one of my 4 clamps it broke the locking piece of metal

Great bar clamp

I received a pair of these clamps as a Birthday gift from my son. The parallel clamps are great for clamping cabinet boxes and furniture projects. I can always know that these clamps will hold and apply pressure squarely where I want it.

I love how well these clamps work. They provide just the right pressure and are easy to use.

Best clamps ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have four 48” clamps. They are very easy to use on cabinets and doors. You can get even pressure without any twisting or slipping. They are not the lowest cost but you get what pay for.
