Would Not RecommendI purchased this in store. The tool has a very grainy movement - not smooth whatsoever. Thumb dial does not engage the body very well. You have to use pressure to keep constant contact, otherwise it slips. I purchased this for reloading and am disappointed. Not sure why the ratings are soo good on it. Would definitely NOT recommend this for any precision work. Will look for another elsewhere.

The whole electronic unit is the exact same as on a plastic $10 version from another brand. But it does seem to work well, and the metal parts are pretty stiff. The thumb screw is a nice addition, so you can tighten it down in place, then pull it off and see the measurements, if you're measuring something at an angle where you can't read the screen.
