Would RecommendI picked these up to measure items for my laser engraving shop. Turns out they are really versatile. They wake upon moving the slide. You can select mm or inch. 1/10,000 of an inch, fractions 1/128th, 1/100 mm. At the back end there is a probe to get depth, think tire gauge, up front there is inside and outside measurement capabilities. There is a slide lock to prevent movement after measuring. Max is 6 inches. Max depth of measured item is 2.5".
