Ratings & Reviews for Johnson Post Level Plastic 5.5-in 3 Vial Cross check level
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this post level for its hands-free strap design that eliminates repositioning and enables one-person operation, freeing both hands for holding posts or pouring concrete. The cross-check vial delivers accurate alignment in both directions, dramatically reducing time compared to traditional levels and transforming two-person jobs into solo tasks. Most describe it as sturdy and durable for the price, with reliable performance across square and round posts. A few mention the elastic strap could be stronger, and rare reports note inconsistent readings, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by widespread satisfaction. Overall, reviewers consider it indispensable for fence and mailbox installations.

Great tool Add
Would RecommendThis is a great product and I used two of them to install a lot of 4x4 wood fence posts. Durable in all weather. My only concern is the rubber band! There are no replacements. My two are okay so far but a wood snag could break the rubber band; cold and hot weather could also affect it. Overall, I’d still buy them again because they are extremely useful and affordable

They are OK, needs replacement rubber bands.
Would RecommendI purchased 4 of these levels to use while putting up fence posts. It is a large project and I am just DIYing on the weekends, so it takes a while to get things done. 3 weeks in and ALL of the rubber bands have snapped.
