Would RecommendThis level does the job when it comes to checking plumb and level on posts, and the vials are easy to read. It’s lightweight and simple to use, which I appreciated. However, the plastic hook on the back snapped off when it accidentally fell to the ground—not from a great height either. That made it a bit frustrating to use after that, since it couldn’t hold itself in place anymore. It’s a helpful tool, but don’t expect it to take much wear and tear. Great value for the price though.

Got this to help set some fence posts. For that it did a good job, but I was hoping for a better way to attach it the post. The rubber band worked but it did require two hands.
