What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this adhesive as a reliable, high-performance solution that consistently delivers exceptionally strong, durable bonds across metal, plastic, wood, and ceramic. Most users describe repairs as "like a weld" and note that bonds often outlast original components, with some citing 45-year-old repairs still holding strong. Reviewers appreciate the ease of mixing and application, fast drying, and versatility for household and industrial repairs. The 24-hour cure time is widely accepted as necessary for maximum strength. A few mention surface preparation is critical, and one reported a repair failure, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by overwhelming positive feedback. Overall, customers consider it indispensable.

i have an old tractor that had a rusted out place in the corner of the fuel tank. after cutting out the rusted spot and sanding the edges, i installed a home made patch and glued it together with the jb weld. then i put another coat of jb over the whole area , let it set over night ,sanded it and then repainted the whole tank.

Great for bedding rifle receivers in wood stocks

Would Recommend

I have used JB Weld steel bedding 5 rifle receivers in wood stocks. Follow the mixing directions. Coat all metal contact parts with wax shoe polish, coat all screw threads with shoe polish, pack shoe polish in all screw holes.then tighten screws to about 90%. Wait 6 hours and gently tap barrel to remove metal from wood. Inspect results, scrape off excess JB Weld from outside stock and where not needed. Re-assemble, tighten to max and wait next day for JB Weld to cure. Disassemble and clean up me...
