[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Irwin 25 foot straight line tape measure. Is a great feeling Tech measure in your hand. It's cool that it is a 2 sided tight measure period this is great for. The woodworking that I enjoy doing period the fact that you can. Extended to 17 fwithout arrestand is a great option period I headed out to 7 feet with no bend. It's a wide type measure as well. Measuring an inch and a 1/2 across with large numbers make it easy to read.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The build quality of the Irwin Straight-Line 25’ tape measure is top notch. It has a rubber overcoat that will survive an 80’ drop. There a retraction control opening under where the tape comes out to allow your finger to control the tape’s movement without risk of getting it pinched. 25’ Strait-Line Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this with the 16’ Strait-line and a 25 foot Milwaukee tape. I preferred the 16’ as it has effectively the same tape albeit shorter. For hanging variations of 12 foot insulation, I found the 16 matched the rigidity of the 25 but was lighter and smaller. The 25 foot Strait-Line performed better than the Milwaukee for horizontal measurement of 12 feet. The 25 wiil be used when I require measurements over 16’ because of size and weight. ...

Great features poor quality

Love the features this tape measure offers especially the finger brake. Unfortunately after just 2 days on the jobsite the tape bent badly rendering it useless. I considered returning it for another one hoping it was a fluke but ultimately decided to get my money back. If they would improve the tape quality they'd have a real winner until then look elsewhere.

Needs improvement

Hard to deploy when wearing gloves. The end hook could have been a little longer to make this better.

Easier to use than most tape measures

I like the thick blade and the size of the body. I like how the blade locks down and releases easily

A better tape measure!

The best thing is the little window on the bottom that lets you control it with one finger. It's super convenient to let it out just a tiny bit at a time, or let it recoil slowly and smoothly.

Durable with some bonus features you will like

It seems quite heavy but that means it will sit stable on it's on to make marks accurately. I didn't think I would like the way you could hook it on the bottom and top of the end of the tape but it has come in really handy a couple times! I really like that feature. Also it is printing on the top and bottom which helped on more than one occasion. I seems really durable and I have dropped it from about 8 feet a few times and no damage at all. So far my best tape measure.

Great quality and fair price

This tape measure is made really well and with the special protection layer it looks like it should not split like so many others have over time.
