Ratings & Reviews for IRWIN Speedbor 10 -Piece Assorted x Assorted Woodboring Spade bit Drill Bit Set

Superior quality

As always, Irwin delivered a superior product. Can't say much for the little storage box that came with it, but I didn't purchase the set to get the box.

Great case to store in.

Great quality drill bits from a great manufacturer.

G

It should include details on how to fit all of the bits into the case.

Best paddle bits for electricians

These are possibly not as fast as screw-tipped spade bits through clean wood, but they are far better with drywall and plywood. Because the center blade doesn't clog with glue and drywall dust, they always perform well--unless you're like me and don't realize there's concrete behind the drywall.

How Are These Bits Supposed to Fit in That Box?

I bought these yesterday and went to put the bits into the included case. There isn't any directions or even a picture of the bits in that box. This shouldn't be a puzzle. I was able to everything but the 1 1/2" in the box. Any suggestions?

Great tool. Great price

Bits are sharp and strong

Irwin do you not care?

The bits are fine, the storage case is useless way to small for all of the bits. Just buy the bits and save a little money

Irwin Spade Bits

They work better than expected for my purposes. I will buy or recommend these spade bits

Great set, case way too small

This set is absolutely great but the carrying case is wayyy to small to comfortably fit all the bits.

Is this a practical joke?

The case is honestly so bad that it makes you wonder if this is some sort of practical joke the company is playing on people. Did they accidentally include a case for a different product with these? Did even a single person at Irwin try to put these things in that case? It's so hilariously bad that it feels disrespectful. Irwin, what on earth is going on over there? Are you ok?

Sad Engineering

Bits would not fit into the case. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the storage case. Returned the set.

Great price on spade bits

Decent bits for a cheap price, and with the included case they will be more difficult to lose.

Inadequate storage container

The drill bits are good but the storage container is grossly inadequate. The bits don’t fit very well and the container is difficult to close.

Good bits / Bad Storage

The bits themselves appear to be very good. Cut through wood joists smoothly and quickly. The included case is worthless for these bits unless you modify it. The bits don't fit. You can side stack the smaller ones but I couldn't find a way to make the larger diameter bits fit in a way to allow you to close the lid.
