What Customers Are Saying

The product is praised for its ability to quickly and efficiently drill through a variety of materials, including wood, fence posts, and railroad ties. The extra length is highlighted as a major advantage, allowing users to reach deep areas and drill all the way through thick walls or stacked materials. While the bit is considered sharp and aggressive, some users note that it may require more downward pressure and frequent clearing of the hole to prevent it from dulling quickly, especially when drilling through harder woods. Overall, the majority of customers are satisfied with the product's performance and value.

Very useful building a retaining wall

Would Recommend

The extra long spade bit proved very useful building a retaining wall with railroad ties. We needed to drill pilot holes for the anchor screws and the bit did the job.

Greta Bit to have!

Would Recommend

Used it to drill 4 holes though a fence post to mount a Mule 360 auto gate opener. Went thru the post like a hot knife through butter (the Kobalt Drill that I also bought at Lowes didn't hurt either)!

Speedbor

Would Recommend

It's a long spade bit, and it made a hole in the wooden fence and post where I intended it to. Pretty simple tool which performed as designed. Whereas it didn't scatter magical fairy dust around the work area, it didn't break the first time out either. So I guess it's okay. That's about it.
