Ratings & Reviews for IRWIN Extra long 3/8-in x 16-in Woodboring Spade bit Drill Bit
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The product is praised for its ability to quickly and efficiently drill through a variety of materials, including wood, fence posts, and railroad ties. The extra length is highlighted as a major advantage, allowing users to reach deep areas and drill all the way through thick walls or stacked materials. While the bit is considered sharp and aggressive, some users note that it may require more downward pressure and frequent clearing of the hole to prevent it from dulling quickly, especially when drilling through harder woods. Overall, the majority of customers are satisfied with the product's performance and value.

It claims to work with impacts
Would Not RecommendThis bit claims to work with impact drivers, but the end that goes into the impact driver does not stay locked in or have anything to bite on to stay put Check the item photos and compare the one I will upload I have a drill so no problem but for anyone that has only an Impact driver and only buys impacts driver compatible bits this will come as a surprise once you try to use it, I did order it online so I had no pre inspection available compared to being in store
