Would RecommendI have used this saw numerous times cutting the bottoms of door jambs and it works great. The dual swing works great when you get in tight areas as well. Great saw for less money than some of the others out there made specifically for this type of work.

It got the job done, but the blade easily wanders and if you're not careful you might end up cutting more than just the wood (but what's a project without a few minor injuries, am I right?) Would Not RecommendI used it to cut 5 door jambs. The handle kept bending. I couldn't use it by the handle. I had to hold it towards the front. Eventually it broke.The blade was fine but it doesn't do any good without the handle.

Would RecommendUsed this for trimming door molding and jambs in a re-tiling project. Easily changed from right to left for good access in tight spots. Less expensive than one promoted for this specific purpose. Sharp and cuts nicely.
