Groovelock Pliers
Would RecommendI bought these because I was tired of my channel locks not having enough adjustment or slipping out of their groove when you open them. These eliminate both problems by having at least twice as many grooves and holding in place when you open them all the way. The only thing I dislike is that the handles feel slightly awkward and you can push them to higher settings without pressing the release button.

Superior design for a channel-lock type of pliers
Would RecommendThese pliers are terrific. You push a button on the pivot point, and move the jaw into a different groove, where the button locks it in. No way the jaw can slip out to a different groove unless you press the button again. Comes with either straight jaw or vee-jaw for round objects like pipes. Soft plastic coating on handle is a plus.
