Would RecommendIrwin gets a bad rap sometimes. I own several of their pliers, and they have ALWAYS got the job done. They're quick-adjust, which works phenomenally. You can get quite a bit of pressure on the handles, even with the 8". These are daily users in my work bag, and I would like to buy another set for home. The only thing that keeps me from giving these pliers 5-stars, is that the finer teeth have smashed out a little. I'm not sure what I was doing to cause that, and it doesn't seem to affect grip to...
Decent Tools But Don't Last
Would Not RecommendCheap enough prices, but don't hold up the way Knipex pliers do. Grips are nice for bigger hands, teeth hold nice when they're brand new. Six months down the line? Not so much...I will stick with my Channellocks for everyday use, Knipex are the best but too pricy....these can stay in the unlocked toolbox for others to "borrow"
Irwin Groove lock pliers
Would RecommendBest channel style lock pliers I have ever owned. Bought these as a gift for my son for Christmas.
Best slip joint pliers that I have ever used!!
Would RecommendBeing able to purchase on line and then just go to the store with the items waiting up front so all you have to do is show your papers and ID is the easiest way I have ever experienced. Thank you Lowes!!!!!!
Best copy of a Knipex I've owned
Would RecommendThe best way to compare this tools with others . Borrow a Knipex ( I own one), compare it's use with the Irvin. then compare prices...Econically, Irwin wins no contest . Grip, Irwin fits my big paws . Ladies, will find Knipex a hand fit, more to their liking... my wife Alice now has control of my Knipex . What more can I say...
