Would RecommendAll my channel-locks got out of my toolbox and walked off. I needed to fix a drain pipe and these fit the bill. Even better than the Craftsmen set that got away. I will start locking my toolbox, just so I don't lose these too.

Would RecommendYou always need a good pair of pliers, no matter what trade you work in. I have at least 10 pairs of these and the oldest being about 10 yrs old. Still work as good as new and have held up over the years. I keep a cpl pair in each tool bag of a different trade.

Would Not RecommendFor most of my work, I find the Craftsman Robogrip easier to use. For some other jobs, I would use an assortment of pipe wrenches instead. This was a gift from a family member and I will not be carrying it in my tool box.

Would RecommendHaven’t used them much yet I bought them to see if I like the style before I invest in knipexs which cost a fortune. The few times I’ve used them so far have been simple and work as they should. Only gave 4 stars cause I wish they made a left handed set with the botton on the otherside for adjustment

Would RecommendAbout a year ago I purchased the GV6 version of these two. I was really taken with the GrooveLock aspect as I have arthritis which limits the amount of pressure I can exert with my hands. Once I find the right setting by adjusting the jaws' separation with the lock button in the middle these pliers do not slip or scar the fixture. The handles are very comfortable to hold as well. Great value all the way around.
