Would RecommendGreat wrench! my go to tool for many projects , I've broken one pair under extreme pressure but they are super easy to adjust and grab good . I seriously have 8 pairs and give them as gifts and people love them

best I have owned
Would RecommendThe push button locking system is radically better than the regular slip lock system. Highly recommended.

Awesome channel locks
Would RecommendBest channel locks I have ever purchased. The way the heads are made works perfectly for most any use and you have many more grooves the lock your pliers in position than traditional channel locks. Great purchase! Only downside is that even while locked in a position you can fairly easily still close the gap (can't open them more while locked, just close). But that is a petty complaint compared to how great they work overall.

Irwin pliers
Would RecommendThis set of Pliers are absolutely great. They have a button lock on the side that keeps them where you set them. There is no slippage of the pliers on the nut or whatever you have them on at all. Like some adjustable, these do not change adjustments because they have become loose over time. They are made very well and are very strong.. I am super happy of my purchase for this set and would recommend these or any of the Irwin vise-grip type pliers they make.

Great pliers!
Would RecommendIrwin gets a bad rap sometimes. I own several of their pliers, and they have ALWAYS got the job done. They're quick-adjust, which works phenomenally. You can get quite a bit of pressure on the handles, even with the 8". These are daily users in my work bag, and I would like to buy another set for home. The only thing that keeps me from giving these pliers 5-stars, is that the finer teeth have smashed out a little. I'm not sure what I was doing to cause that, and it doesn't seem to affect grip to...
Decent Tools But Don't Last
Would Not RecommendCheap enough prices, but don't hold up the way Knipex pliers do. Grips are nice for bigger hands, teeth hold nice when they're brand new. Six months down the line? Not so much...I will stick with my Channellocks for everyday use, Knipex are the best but too pricy....these can stay in the unlocked toolbox for others to "borrow"
Irwin Groove lock pliers
Would RecommendBest channel style lock pliers I have ever owned. Bought these as a gift for my son for Christmas.
Best slip joint pliers that I have ever used!!
Would RecommendBeing able to purchase on line and then just go to the store with the items waiting up front so all you have to do is show your papers and ID is the easiest way I have ever experienced. Thank you Lowes!!!!!!
Best copy of a Knipex I've owned
Would RecommendThe best way to compare this tools with others . Borrow a Knipex ( I own one), compare it's use with the Irvin. then compare prices...Econically, Irwin wins no contest . Grip, Irwin fits my big paws . Ladies, will find Knipex a hand fit, more to their liking... my wife Alice now has control of my Knipex . What more can I say...

leading hand
Would RecommendI've bought and used the 11R for thirty years; the only reason I have to buy new ones is when I loose one. But the last one I bought was a real let down - the jaw-opening is less than half what it was on the previous examples of the identical model. Evidently there's subtle variations in the lever ratios, but here I have a tool with very limited use simply because it won't open wide enough to get on the job. I hope that tool wasn't the new standard, but how do I check new tools when Irwin loc...
