Irwin's imitation of the Vise-Grip clamps.

I bought 2 pair of these made in China copies and they don't open as wide the don't release like the Peterson. All I will say about them is I won't buy any more until they are made right and in the USA

I now have 3 of these in ascending sizes

About a year ago I purchased the GV6 version of these two. I was really taken with the GrooveLock aspect as I have arthritis which limits the amount of pressure I can exert with my hands. Once I find the right setting by adjusting the jaws' separation with the lock button in the middle these pliers do not slip or scar the fixture. The handles are very comfortable to hold as well. Great value all the way around.

Excellent tool

Needed tool that could fit in a small place, changing water hoses to my washer. The vise grips worked great and were easy to grip. Glad I bought them and the price was great for a quality tool

We love it!

I manage a water supply corporation and we love these! When hands are wet and muddy, you don't loose your sizing at all!

Groovy grip tool

Awesome tool use them 1000's times these are the crocodile of plyers use em on plumbing fixtures for no slip.

Good Quality at a Good Price

Comfortable, convenient and ergonomic. The quality I have come to expect from Irwin tools. Often times I need a straight jaw however, and so have to use a different brand. It would be nice if Irwin would introduce a straight-jaw edition of these groove locks for turning rigid conduit.

Excellent Design

Irwin has come up with another great design. The positive locking system is very handy and certainly prevents accidental movement of the adjustments, thereby minimizing possible injury to the user. Great job!

Awesome product

Best locking pliers I've ever used. Working in the automotive field when I need something to hold a panel inplace these are the first thing I go for.

Great Pliers

I have had these Pliers for 6 Years now, love them, I only wish that these were available when I was a Heating tech.

Follow up

To be fair, I complained to Irwin about the 11r clamps I purchased and they sent replacements. These replacements are night and day difference from the other ones. Much better fit, finish and feel. I think I got some faulty units the first time around.

BACK IN 2010 A FRIEND OF MY UNCLE'S IN ZANESVILLE OHIO WAS SHOWING ME HIS TOOLS. HE SHOWED ME THE PETERSEN DEWITT 11R LOCKING C CLAMP AND ASKED ME IF I HAD EVER SEEN ONE. perfect every time

I have used cheaper copies in the past but the Irwin range which I have 2 of every regular and swivel pad in the range are THE BEST. I am a metal worker restoring Aston Martin DB4/5/6 and have found these on the bench every day.

High quality

Irwin in my opinion is the original clamp producer, and they're 11R is the standard in all of the welding companies I've been with. I would definitely recommend Irwin clamps for any kind of job where it needs clamping power.
