What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this vent cap for its heavy-duty metal construction and superior durability compared to plastic alternatives. The galvanized steel resists cracking, melting, and deterioration in extreme heat and harsh climates. Reviewers highlight the intuitive two-part design with a sliding flap that opens during use and seals tightly when idle, preventing air loss and pest entry. The flap operates quietly and is easy to clean or remove for maintenance. Most appreciate the downward-facing design that minimizes water ingress. A few noted minor issues with product descriptions or plastic screens, but these are vastly outweighed by the product's overall quality and reliability.

A better dryer vent
Would RecommendSturdy construction, easy to paint, the flapper was better than others which is why I purchased this dryer vent.

Great, but cut corners in one area
Would RecommendThis is a well designed unit. I wish they had made it easier to secure the screen, however.
Definitely quality!
Would RecommendThis is by far better than the plastic ones with the flappers. They get too brittle. I expect this one will hold up a long time. It was a little difficult to disassemble so that I could mount the pest screen but at least it is made of a durable material that will not deteriorate in the sun and crumble to dust like the one it is replacing.

IT worked out great
Great unit. Well built, keeps bugs out.
Would RecommendBest air vent I have ever used. Heavy metal. ice screen to keep bugs, birds and other varments out. Will last a lifetime. Wish to connector was a bit longer.
Well made product
Would RecommendI really like the quality of this dryer cap. Very tough and great quality also. I’m an HVAC tech and do this for a living.
Lint catcher, major design flaw
Would Not RecommendIt is corrugated. You need to have the corrugated part facing away from the flow of air. This design just traps lint into the corrugated metal.
