Would RecommendThis vent cover is made of good quality metal and not cheap and flimsy like the plastic comparables. The only thing I will say about this the regarding the pest guard, I think it should be welded to the metal as you have to put it in perfectly and hope it doesn’t come out over time. I think that part could have been done way better

Would RecommendBetter than the plastic hoods….for some reason it comes with a lip that would make it impossible to mount flush to house that I cut off…mine didn’t have the screen but wasn’t going to use…the ducting is crimped inward to fit inside the dryer vent pipe, this is not good as it will trap lint…I will cut & place over the existing pipe…have used some aluminum AC duct tape to cover 3 areas on outlet flange that will also collect & trap lint…the outlet should have been designed better…hoping my modific...

Would Not RecommendDescription said galvanized metal construction. Thats what I thought I was getting. It has a plastic damper. It also has 3-crimped mounting pipe. That is a 3" long tube, so that was too long for my installation. Just a bad description, I had to return it.

Would RecommendDurable, strong, well made, works good if you have vent that rain can get in. The front of the vent is down so the rain water is harder to get in. Last vent i had was short i had rain water got in the front of it and wet the lint, which dried out hard, stopped up my vent burned up my heating element.
