Customers overwhelmingly praise this outdoor electrical outlet cover for exceptional weatherproof protection, sleek low-profile design, and straightforward installation. Most highlight its reliable water resistance, durability lasting years, and modern appearance as a superior upgrade from traditional bubble covers. Many appreciate the expandable design accommodating cords while closed, compatibility with duplex outlets and GFCIs, and solid build quality. A few report minor issues with heavy-gauge cords or latch strength, but these concerns are rare. easy install, absolute necessity for outdoor plugs
Would Not RecommendThe panel expands so you can have two cords plugged in providing a waterproof connection.

The slimmest in-use cover
Would RecommendI needed a much slimmer cover over an outlet on my porch, because my porch swing kept banging into the old cover. I tried a similar expandable cover from a different brand and store, but it didn't accommodate anything plugged in while collapsed. I'm glad that I found this, and it seems pretty clear that TayMac is superior in general, at least in non-metallic covers. I'm also glad that this will expand and protect my plugs when I need to power Christmas lights.

Good shield only for a temporary amount of time.
Would RecommendThe flexible part does not last when stretched to cover a plug.

Electric box cover
Would RecommendNice exterior cover. It looks like it will work well. Not difficult to install, but I don't really like the two-tab style for opening it.
