Great idea, might not be watertight
Better than nothing, but a bit underwhelming. I have a smart plug that hangs out of this, like a 1’ 3-fer would. Wasps can get inside
Would Not RecommendThis kept the weather out, but wasps entered through the opening in one corner. They built a nest inside and destroyed the GFI outlet. Had to replace the outlet and the cover.
If pests are a concern, wadding up a piece of foam, may help prevent them from getting into the cord port opening.
Nice product.
Would RecommendI like the low profile. The assembly is straightforward

Exterior weather proof electrical box cover
Installed easy, but if using on exterior siding with a slight slope, make sure you leave room at the top (not too close to next siding board) for it to open properly without having to notch out the siding just above the electrical box.
