Its sturdy, yes, but the bracket hanging over the brace should have teeth or a gasket to keep it from slipping. I can't tighten any more and it moves back and forth. May want to right it so this doesn't happen. This is NOT the brace moving. Tried to link YouTube video but it won't accept it.
There will potentially be a small amount of movement between the threaded rod, and the threaded cylinder. This normal, and the appropriate sized hole...

Seems strong ENOUGH, but very difficult to actually get pins on either end to stab into the studs/joists. I'm not confident this works exactly as intended, but does distribute the weight across the drywall at least....
