Get out of the attic !
Would RecommendIt worked out just like the videos I watched before my purchase, I was very impressed. The previous hook-up was a wire pulled through a hole, no box nothing but a fire ..hazard . I had to put 1/4" shims under each wayside due to the thin plywood ceiling on my porch to make it flush with ceiling. Well worth the money, otherwise I would've had to crawl out onto the porch ceiling from the attic and it wouldn't have been easy but it would have been ITCHY.

I cut the assembly down to 9”, popped the end back on, and it installed easily in my 12in on center joist spac...

Great product
Would RecommendSo easy to work with, to install in existing ceiling. The hand tightening of the rod works great, and the box stays perfectly strong for my ceiling fan now.
Please contact RACO Tech Support at racotechservices@hubbell.com for guidance on how to install this ceiling can support brace.
