Would RecommendReasonably priced- used for old work application where attic work was required anyway to pull extra wires to separate fan & light controls. Easy install with all needed materials included for mounting.

Not sure why this would not work. Seems sturdy
Would RecommendI have not used this yet but the thing that I notice is that the reviewers giving this item a poor review never mention what their rafter centers are or the weight of the fan. The thing is adjustable for use with rafters/joists with spans from 16"-24"nad for a 70lb fan . The longer the span the less stable it would be. Just saying.
