It was straight forward. Installed the four provided screws into the rafters. The screws have a 8mm head by the way. The wiring bushing snapped in securely and wire passed through as would be expected. Would RecommendWorked as intended. Very easy to install. Used to span 16" footer gap to hang fans. However, seems odd that the side plates are setup to accept 8 or more nails/screws to attach to joists, but the main box is still only held to the rails by 2 tiny metal screws.
