- The Gangs All Here

- Well this 4" gang box works great especially with the attached mounting tabs that make positioning it at the correct recess measurement to the stud framing. Doesn't get any easier than this..... Also, the Sigma Electric ProConnex 3/8-in Snap-in Connector Conduit Fittings fit perfectly in the knock-out holes in case you need some of those to complete your installation.

Simple box to add to exposed studs or joists.

Good product. You can hammer its tabs in place then put on a couple screws to secure it. One annoying thing was that I did not find the cover with rectangular opening for a GFCI outlet (maybe Lowes hid them somewhere else) .. I ended up buying the common double rounded and make one myself. Problem solved.

My brother likes the metal gang boxes because he can use his roto zip tool for installing drywall around these.

Solid Box

It's steel. It holds wires. Duh... what else do you want from an electrical box. It's really silly asking anyone to review and electrical box.

Excellent boxes

Would Recommend

I like these electrical boxes because they are easy to mount to a stud and strong enough to stand up to the abuse of wiring and sheet rocking a wall. This box holds a pair of light switches and has plenty of room inside for the wiring. It will look nice once the wall is finished and the cover is in place on the light switches.

Served it's purpose

but I added an additional 2x4 in the wall to brace the box on the opposite side. Without it, the box felt too flimsy when plugging and unplugging items.
