[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 24,000 gallon pool tends to get away from us rather quickly. However, when the Algae Guard was added, we saw results quickly. The product is easy to use and not messy like some pool chemicals can be. Sure, there are generic products out there that are cheaper, but sometimes it pays to spend a little more for quality results.

Then, simply pour it in and it does the rest! I had been having trouble with algae so this was the product I was searching for. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually, the algae gets really bad after a few days if you go without mainenance for a few days. With this agae guard you can go for 2 weeks without trying to keep up. We all live busy lives and sometimes its hard to keep up with the pool.

No more green pool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HTH Ultimate Algae Guard works great! It has helped her our pool summer ready and handled the algae problem we had from not properly wintering our pool. It was easy to use and the directions are extremely easy and simple to follow.

Nice that it's non-foaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing about algaecide that used to bug me was the foam. I'm glad to have found Ultimate Algae Guard, because I can add it and don't have to deal with the questions about that foam all over the pool.

Consistent performance

Every year we have fought the blooms with little success, until we started using this product which keep it in check! I highly recommend if you have a hard time keeping algae in control.

Crystal Blue Water - thanks HTH

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this HTH Ultimate to help get my pool in shape as the prior owner neglected it so badly. I was so impressed at how well it helped with the color and killing the algae. I would recommend this to anyone.

Needs to be larger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As noted in my other review, I have a very large pool. Approx 50k gallons. This small bottle came no where close to meeting my requirements. I did use the whole bottle, and it worked temporarily to get my color more blue, but alas, it was no use against heavy pollen and algae. If the bottle came in a variety of sizes, it would be perfect. Also, I would prefer the shape of the other containers with a handle. I felt like I was going to drop this ...

Algae's Worst Nightmare

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This just works. Period. Pour some in several spots around your pool with the pump running and you'll be algae-free for three months. I've tried several other products but nothing works like HTH Ultimate Algae Guard. Highly-recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great algae guard. We have only gotten to use it for a week,but so far it has helped with keeping algae out of our pool. This brand is a great brand to use for pool products, I am sure we will continue to fight algae from our pool constantly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first time pool owner. I used this product and did not have any algae issues when combined with other normal pool maintenance. I have wasted loads of money buying chemicals to no avail, but a half bottle of this stuff and It really worked. I saw little improvement the next morining but over the next few days it looked better and better. I will be buying again.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product for our above ground pool. We live in the desert and keeping the pool algae free is a nightmare. Just had to figure out the right amount of Ultimate Algae Guard for our pool size and just put it right in the pool with the pump running. What I like is that I just put it in the water and don’t have to worry about anymore. All I need to do is vacuum the pool and I’m done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For those of you who have a pool, you know how hard it is to keep it from collecting algae in it. Follow the directions for adding this algae guard and it will definitely control the ph of your water and keep the algae from growing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice peace of mind! Added this in with my normal pool maintenance routine and so far it’s crystal clear. Having had to deal with algae blooms in the past, it is FAR easier to stay ahead of it and be preventative than try to fix it once things get bad! So this, for me, is one of those products that help me sleep a little better at night :-)

Algae Beware

Algae Guard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd time to set up ground up pool. First time we didn't use algae guard. This time we got this and we can maintain the pool very clean! I can let my kids play in the pool everyday and don't be afraid they get sick! So far very good product to use!
