trust this brand and product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] you can actually swim 15 minutes after applying this to your pool. that is a game changer for us. it seems to last longer than i'm used to also. it appears to work on all different types of algae so you don't have to be specific in what you purchase. this is a great brand that i trust for my pool needs.

Rather stick with Super Algae Guard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little History: I have been using HTH's Super Algae Guard exclusively for my garden fountain over the past 2 years. It was the only additive I've found that keeps the water flowing clear. Anyone with an outdoor garden fountain knows how tedious it can be other than draining and refilling it all together. Once I had to chance to try the Ultimate version, I thought it was going to be even better than the Super version. It's definitely not be...

Works too slow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I decided to try this liquid it was because my pool was starting to have a little bit of Algae but it was very minimal, after putting it according to the instructions the water turned completely green !!! it was horrible!!! but I let the chemical work, it takes about 5 days to turn blue, it works too slow, not like it says on the boat ... after that I took a water sample and took it to a specialized pool place and it turned out it was hi...

I started using the HTH Ultimate Algae Guard 6 in 1 a couple of weeks ago it does foam a bit, but so far it seems like it’s working, we do have to brush the pool with the wire brush so far so good I will continue to use ...

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After being gone for a extended weekend I came home to a green pool. I was so happy that product worked great and turned my water back clear. It was so easy to use. I have a bigger pool so it took the whole bottle so I just walked around it pouring it in. It didn’t take long before I started noticing a big difference.

Works Quick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for about 2 weeks and all of the algae has disappeared. The liquid doesnt have a strong chemical smell and only a small amount is needed. Just dump a small amount in and within a few hrs you can see a huge difference in the water. By far this is the best algae guard I've found.
