Would Not RecommendI bought a package of the 75 count Hillman #6 x 1/2" brass screws for two wood projects. I did not count the number when I opened it. I just started using the screws. However as I was finishing the second project which used the same number of screws, I found the package only had about 57 screws to start with, not 75. I assume the package came from the Hillman company that way. I was disappointed with being shorted in screw count by almost 20 screws.

Would Not RecommendThese screws are very attractive. However they do not have desirable strength as 3 out of 20 broke (sheared off) under tightening pressure. Also a little soft meaning the head shreds easily.

Cheap Garbage
Would Not RecommendCheap garbage. The heads snap off regularly, or the head strips. Absolute garbage (same is true for Hillman's aluminum bar stock). Avoid this junk!

Threw them away, unsafe!!
I am highly disappointed in these screws, they are too low of quality to be on the market. I bought a pack of 25 and my first 4 went as such; first one stripped out halfway into the wood, second one went in fine, third and fourth ones both busted off halfway into the wood causing my hand to slip and smash into the wood.
