dry rots in 2 years

I bought these for my backyard 2 years ago. The cable going to the individual lights has started breaking from dry rot. The socket and bulb just drop to the ground. at least 6 of mine have fallen off.

Not Worth the Price

Purchased from Lowe's last summer to put on our deck railing. After a few months of occasional use, they just stopped working. Bulbs, connections look fine. Everything appears intact. I'm not an electrician so at this point, they are useless to me. Hate spending money to throw stuff into a landfill, but I guess that's where they are going.

Broke immediately

Plugged them in to test them and they turned on, installed them, and they didn't work. Figured it was a blown fuse and tried using the replacement one, still didn't work. Strange since it was a gfci outlet. Will not be buying anything from this brand again

Very nice lights, illuminates great .heavily coated cord.

Very easy to install produces a good amount of light. Glad i was able to get 2 packs while they were on sale. Should have purchased more.

We have four of the 48 foot strands on our outdoor deck for two years now going on three, No problem with any of the bulbs or them working . We are putting up a large gazebo this spring and I will definitely be buying these lights for it .

Look in the sockets before you install!

I bought a set of these and did all of the work to install them around our patio area. When I plugged it in, it blew the fuse in the plug. It did the same with the second fuse. I took out all of the bulbs and found one of the sockets to have been manufactured incorrectly, resulting in the center conductor tab contacting the outer conductor ring and shorting the lights out, blowing the fuses. Took it back and got a replacement in hopes the first was a fluke.

Year-round cozy atmosphere

The product pictures actually do these justice. I like the warm tone of these as opposed to the sterile white light of other string lights. Packaging of the cord was not well thought out, but the bulbs were nicely packaged in a separate cardboard box with dividers (2 extra bulbs included). Great quality has lasted over two years. I love the style of the bulbs they hang nicely. The light is just right for outdoor gatherings.

Returned due to electrical issues.

The in-line fuses blew upon first power up on a 110v circuit. I replaced the fuses with the spares provided and then one set worked, but the fuse blew immediately on the other set. Neither Lowes (where I purchased the lights), nor any of the other hardware stores in the area carry the replacement fuses. After wasting the better part of my day tracking down non-existent fuses and troubleshooting, I gave up and returned the lights to Lowes.

Commericial Grade Joke

I own two of these strands. In less than a year, more than 2/3 of the bulbs have died. The rubber is quickly becoming brittle so I'm not sure if replacing the bulbs is a smart move. Avoid these.

Absolutely love that there are mounting holes on the light string! Using as a lighting source for our crawl space and it’s the perfect size and lighting for this usage
