What Customers Are Saying
Most customers praise the product's simplicity and effectiveness, reporting visible grass growth within 7 to 14 days in difficult areas like shade and compacted soil. Many describe results as "amazing" and say they'll buy again. However, a notable group experiences delayed or absent growth despite proper watering, waiting 2 to 4 weeks with no sprouts. Wind sensitivity emerges as a consistent concern, with reviewers reporting the material blows away or disintegrates when not fully saturated. A smaller segment considers it a waste of money after three weeks with no results. Overall, most find it worthwhile when conditions favor success, though environmental factors significantly impact outcomes.

I’m am so happy with the results of my growtrax pro, we saw grass beginning to sprout and grow within a week, and now it’s been about 3 weeks and the results are amazing.

Be prepared to waste water
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product doesn't work. The mat lifts the seeds and requires watering down every hour. I tried in 3 spots, one bare soil, the other two, sparse grass to fill in. Sod is instant grass and cheaper! I should have just dug this out! The amount of time and water needed and after 2 weeks the mat is there and there is nothing growing.

Easy to work with.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using GROWTRAX, the first thing that I noticed is that when you get a lot of rain everything stays where you put it down, In the past when it rained very hard all the seeds end up in the low areas. The grass started to sprout within 5 days and 7 days the grass is very visible and about 1 1/2” to 2 “ high. The only problem I’ve encountered was the squirrels and rabbits walking and digging into it which would still be a prob...

Not better than using just seed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this product does grow grass. It was easy to apply, but it doesn't grow grass any faster or better than grass seed alone and starts to look sloppy the wetter it gets. Also not a great product to put where your pets walk as if it gets walked on it deteriorates faster

Easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cool concept idea of having the seed rolled into the media. Very easy to apply . Just roll out sections and cut with scissors . Only took 45 minutes to level the soil and apply the sections. Looking forward for the sunflowers to rise up. Very excited! Very easy product!

Easy grass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So easy to use to cover up some bare spots in my lawn. No seed growth yet and I will be patient. It nice not having to mess with lawn seed which can be messy.

Its my first try on this roll
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with this grass seed roll. It was easy to lay down and made the lawn look much better right away. It’s a convenient option if you want to fill in bare areas and get a greener-looking lawn without too much hassle.

Some sprouts, lot of not
Would Not RecommendI started to see some sprouts a week ago. I was optimistic but the progress hasn't been there. I did other spots of my yard with just regular seed and that is looking much better so far.

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We removed a tree and were left with a stripped down dirt area. These strips have been down for a couple of weeks now, and they are filling in nicely. The fabric is starting to break down as well. I will need at least another roll to cover the area, but I am very pleased with the growth.

Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked perfect for the spot I needed it for. It was easy to use. It took about a week to start growing. You have to water it about it every day. The spot I put it at was in direct sun. I would use again if needed

Might work, Might not
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grass was easy to set up, but results were less than I expected it recommended 3x a day watering. I definitely needed to water it more than that and therefor it resulted in poor germination.
