Would RecommendStrong synthetic roof underlayment which doesn't tear easily and is not too slippery underfoot. Marked nicely for easy installation. Large, light weight rolls easy to handle. Lost a star since it shrinks slightly longitudinally when exposed to high heat/moisture. Not a problem if it is well nailed, but I was using it as a temporary dry in. Regardless, I would recommend and purchase again.
High quality and good price!
Would RecommendVery tough product and long lasting! I used it one a section of the new roof about a year ago and lately on the next phase of the addition. It holds very good to weather conditions. I definitely recommend it!

Find better instructions.. Low Slope install
Would RecommendOwens Corning has better instructions and a nice video. This product is nice and valued right. But I just installed it wrong due to my fault of not understand the instructions. Basically you cut one strip in half and install as a starter strip. Second run is a full width and it overlaps the entire first strip. 3rd row will be placed halfway up the 2nd or 24" up from edge . Then repeat for each row.
for use under steel roof
Would RecommendTHe description says it is not waterproof, but we have it on a roof while awaiting steel roof delivery.it has rainedfor two days and no moisture has come through. Also says not skid proof but it is very slick. We used stalles to hold it down along with a few boards. So far so good. Cannot tell if it is breathable.

Easily installed
Would RecommendWas able easily install each run. The material is not slippery over existing shingles but is seen to show wear marks if walked on alot or pivot your steps in one place. Was marked well to help with install and overlap.

Very impressed.
Would RecommendI’ve used many other brands that stretched unmercifully. I was worried this would be the same. Although it was a 5/12 roof, it laid out well. Buttons held good, even with a distance between them. This let me know that the weave in the felt was really good. I recommend it up to a 7 maybe 8 pitch roof.

Not as good as the OTHER stuff...
Would Not Recommend...by which I mean GAF's FeltBuster. The Grip-Rite stuff curls up at the downslope edge, like a toboggan, trapping water and leafy debris quite effectively. And you know what ELSE is in that water-filled channel? Yeah, your cap-staples. So yes, these become obvious leak-points. I think the material shrinks...a lot...after installation, sitting in the sun. That's the only reason I can see for those edges to curl. I'd only use this stuff in a pinch if I couldn't get the FeltBuster - and d...
